Brant Visual Artists Guild presents an artistic vision of South Colborne Street. This current and highly controversial subject has challenged our membership. We hope to have captured images of the downtown that are well known to most of us and will soon disappear forever
The show is very inspirational, nostalgic and the personal view of our Guild members. Using watercolour, oil, acrylic and mixed media, we hope to evoke fond memories and perhaps kindle your interest in what is happening in the evolution of our downtown core. Brant Visual Artists Guild was formed in l990.
The Guild is an informal group meeting with the intention of sharing ideas, meeting fellow artists, holding workshops, exhibiting our work and encouraging one another to explore new medias and techniques. Our membership stands at approximately 40 people from beginner to advanced with a common interest in various medias of visual art.

Tammie Mulligan
Whether walking in the garden, or traveling abroad, Tammie uses the pure beauty of nature as inspiration for her vivid watercolors of close-focus
floral's, foliage and landscapes. She hopes you enjoy her moments in time, captured by vibrant colour.
"My inspiration comes from people, places, and personal philosophies. I am in awe of nature’s voice, of flocking birds, blowing leaves, and figures that gaze into the horizon. There is a preoccupation with the world and our role in it. My work expresses humanity’s place in the world, our struggle and connectivity, society’s responsibility, and individual choices. My pieces tell a story to bring forth memories or realizations."

Brant News Article
Studied at Dundas Valley School of Art. Being an artist in northern Ontario. This is the land where I was born; its blood runs through my veins. Places I have lived over the years have paled compared to the beauty, spiritual, and emotional connection of the North. My heart remains and always will.
